Help us stop violence in society
The purpose of these programs is to assist young people to identify the importance of a healthy self-esteem, use conflict management skills to solve problems and learn how to act in a peaceful and non-violent way.
Uganda’s youth unemployment stands at 83%, this is mostly because of the mismatch in skills and the existing opportunities in the economy. Unemployment is one of the accelerators of violence and crime due to idleness, frustration and depression.
Education is one of strongest tools against violence and poverty, many children in Uganda’s Slums lack the opportunity to access quality education and this is why we established Great Hope Junior School with an aim of educating over 500 children by 2020.
